40The Central Sterile Supply Technician is responsible for the cleaning, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments and instrument sets, as well as the assembly and distribution of case carts for surgery. Duties include - equipment cleaning, reprocessing and distribution, maintaining accurate records of sterilization and biological tests, assembly of case carts for surgery cases as requested on the pick tickets, and delivery of carts to the staging room in surgery. Responsible for complying with an effective hospital wide program for the prevention, and control of infection. This position will collaborate interdepartmentally primarily with Surgery; but, also with the other nursing units.

Hours: Day shift ( 3-1130p ) M-F

Education:
• HSD/GED is required.
Experience:
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
