100 - 621000 TG - Central ProcessingResponsible for decontaminating, assembly and sterilization process for all instruments, procedure trays and patient care equipment for the organization; operations of all processing equipment; inventorying and sterilizing linen items needed for the organization and sterile technique.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Completion of an accredited sterile processing program ,or at least two years' experience in a Central Service Department, Surgery or equivalent preferred.
Must have a general knowledge of surgical instruments, supplies and decontamination and sterilization techniques. Also, knowledge of the SPM tracking system.
Good organizational skills.
Must be able to stand for long period of time; required to do some walking and lifting (17 to 25 pounds).
