Job Description

Under direct supervision provides supplies, IV solutions, and equipment to all areas of the medical center and medical center sites as needed.

Core Competencies

  • Fills written/verbal request for supplies, IV solutions and equipment.

  • Maintains and delivers all surgical case carts as required.

  • Assembles, exchanges and provides special procedure trays as requested (eg, Swan-Ganz trays, pacemaker trays, isolation carts and latex free boxes).

  • Inventories, restocks and exchanges crash carts Documents the process according to procedure.

  • Assists in maintaining supplies in adequate amounts on the store room shelves, rotates stock and cleans shelving.

  • Understands role in maintaining medication security to authorized personnel only.

  • Utilizes the proper methods when processing paperwork to insure correct charges and accountability.

  • Assists in the training and orientation of new personnel as required.

  • Communicates any special requests or occurrences to the oncoming shift.

  • Inventories and restocks assigned supply carts with required supplies and IV solutions.

Compensation Range$24.00 - $28.22 / Hour
