In this position, you will be responsible for ordering, receiving, distributing, and delivering linen, supplies, and equipment. The role includes stocking, cleaning, and organizing inventory holding rooms and other work areas. The individual will fill orders, pack and stage items for delivery, and enter data while creating and maintaining inventory records. Physical inventory counts are also required. This position may cross-train in Materials Management, Patient Transport, and Receiving.
Salary Range: 26.37-34.83/hr
• Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization practices in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with Materials Management receiving processes and UCLA policies and procedures
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with staff, patients, and families
• Effective telephone etiquette and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently, manage time well, and adapt to changing workloads and rotating shifts
• Willingness to participate in required trainings, in-services, and safety drills
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean work environment and identify and report safety concerns
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and flexibility
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 100 pounds
