Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a Central Route Planner to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for routing of service personnel, fleet maintenance, and compliance and safety activities as assigned by the Central Routing Operations manager

Responsibilities:

  • Execute scheduling and routing, maximizing customer yield and asset utilization.

  • Ensure fleet is maintained to Clean Harbors expectations

  • Daily communication with the Material Handlers to ensure proper inventory is loaded on trucks.

  • Handheld management.

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 - 5 years previous experience with routing, scheduling, or dispatching.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations.
  • Comfortable using computers 85% or more of each workday. Must have moderate skill sets in Outlook and Excel, experience with FleetWise software a plus.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Ability to make discretionary judgments and decisions quickly and correctly in short time frames.
  • Time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve problems by collecting and processing available information quickly and accurately.
  • Customer service aptitude.
  • Written and oral communication skills
