Central Project Manager
Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President

The Central Project Manager supports enterprise infrastructure initiatives by providing governance, coordination, and portfolio-level project management services across multiple infrastructure towers. This role focuses on project intake, initiation, dependency management, risk oversight, and standardized reporting rather than day-to-day task execution. The position operates within the Infrastructure PMO and ensures projects align with established governance, documentation, and delivery standards.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with infrastructure tower leads, project sponsors, and technical owners to support project intake, qualification, and tiering
- Lead or contribute to the development of standardized initiation artifacts, including project charters, business requirements (where applicable), high-level scope definitions, ROM cost estimates, and initial risk assessments
- Ensure projects meet defined readiness criteria prior to execution, including required documentation, stakeholder alignment, and funding/resource visibility
- Maintain visibility of project-level risks, issues, and dependencies, contributing to infrastructure-wide RAID and change logs
- Support project change assessments by coordinating impact analysis on scope, schedule, cost, and risk, and facilitating required governance approvalsn
- Produce standardized weekly and monthly project and portfolio systems of record
- Present consolidated views of project health, schedule variance, budget posture, and execution risks for leadership consumption. Incorporate stakeholder and leadership feedback into ongoing reporting and project oversight
Non-Negotiable Skills
- Strong foundational skills, including organizational ability and leadership
- Able to hold PMO members and stakeholders accountable for key governance activities (e.g., regular updates, project charter creation, change log management, reporting deadlines)
- Experience with reporting tools, including at least basic proficiency in Power BI
- Maintain PMO standards in compliance with internal policies
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the internal Confluence site to ensure accuracy and alignment with processes
- Partner with the team to develop and refine processes
- Drive continuous year-over-year process improvement
- Professional presence: confident in communicating with leadership, presenting to group/tower leads, and demonstrating strong accountability and self-discipline
Biggest Non-Negotiable Skills:
- Must have prior experience in an IT Infrastructure PMO within a regulated industry
Nice to Have:
- Experience in finance
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and data visualization
- Experience leveraging AI tools in day-to-day work, including collaborating with hiring managers or teams to build or use AI-driven solutions
