Within the Group, the nimble transversal Operations team is responsible for:
Creating & Consolidating the connective tissue between all of our 40+ Business Units.
Increasing productivity - individual and collective - through state of the art ways of working.
Keeping our operations safe.

Who you are
You are a hands-on, well-organized, and resourceful individual, combining strong technical skills with a solid experience in managing and delivering IT and Security projects, as well as an excellent service attitude. You thrive as a problem-solver and are the trusted technical point-of-contact for your colleagues.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group IT Director, you will be leading the day-to-day delivery of technology services for the company. The role blends hands-on operational ownership (reliability, support, security, and delivery) with planning and prioritisation (roadmaps, budgets, vendors) to ensure IT enables business outcomes and not bottlenecks them.
You will be interacting and partnering with the Operations team, as well as various stakeholders depending on projects, including core functions (e.g. HR, Finance), local support functions (e.g. office managers), Business Units (heads or representatives), end users and vendors/MSPs.
You will be responsible for:
Infrastructure and core systems administration, maintenance and reliability (network, devices, cloud/on-prem)
Security hygiene and risk management (patching, access control, DR readiness)
Project delivery (scoping, vendor selection, rollout, adoption)
Budgeting and vendor management (contracts, renewals, cost control)
IT operations and support (service desk, incident response, SLAs)
Supporting the Group IT Director in hiring, performance, process improvement
Required skills and abilities
Autonomy & ability to stay focused and maintain a course.
Aptitude in leading IT & Security projects (e.g: design, implementation, configuration, and testing IT & Security solutions).
Creativity & initiative mindset.
Strong technical proficiency & deep knowledge of IT architectures & operations (operating systems, networks, virtualisation & containers, backup & recovery solutions, performance monitoring, Cloud environments, end user devices, MDM).
A strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, best practices, solutions & frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and knowledge of GDPR requirements..
At least basic scripting skills & knowledge of software development practices, programming languages and application lifecycle management
Ability in automation (no code, low code, AI).
