Job Description

You’ve picked a great time to join Avon. We’re the company that puts purpose, people and relationships at the heart of everything we do. The company that’s 135 years young and only just getting started. As part of the Regent LP family, we’re committed to being the best beauty company for the world by generating a positive environmental, economic and social impact for our communities across the globe.

Role Type

Permanent

What you'll be doing:

As the Central Excess Lead, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of Avon’s excess inventory, transforming how it is managed across markets. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify the root causes of excess, prevent it from occurring, and drive effective solutions when it does. You will embed strong governance, create clear processes, and ensure excess management becomes a consistent, proactive capability rather than a reactive activity. Through your leadership, you’ll help improve cash flow, protect margins, and drive smarter commercial decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Consolidating and managing excess inventory exposure across markets, categories, and brands.
  • Driving upstream prevention by partnering with Category, Campaign, and Commercial Planning teams.
  • Establishing global guardrails, SOPs, and governance frameworks for excess management.
  • Developing structured playbooks to clear excess stock while protecting brand value and margins.
  • Designing innovative and commercially effective ways to manage excess without cannibalising the core portfolio.
  • Ensuring clear reporting, visibility, and alignment to central KPIs across all markets.
  • Collaborating with Finance and Supply Chain to secure the right resources and execution support.
  • Monitoring in-flight performance of excess reduction actions and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Embedding continuous learning loops to improve future planning and reduce excess creation.

What we're looking for:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, commercial planning, or S&OP environments.
  • Proven experience managing excess inventory or obsolescence in complex, multi-market businesses.
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding, particularly around inventory and margin trade-offs.
  • Ability to identify root causes and translate insights into practical, preventative solutions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
  • Strong governance mindset with the ability to create clear, effective processes.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the confidence to challenge existing ways of working.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change without direct authority.
  • A proactive, strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement and long-term impact.

What we offer:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package along with wellness resources and work-life balance support in line with your country practices and Avon purpose aiming to help you live a healthier life, protect you and your dear ones, and ensure you’re at your best.

At Avon, we believe beauty is for everyone and that it’s beautiful to be you. We celebrate our differences, champion self-expression and are committed to inclusion for all.
