Job Description

Monday - Friday 5am-1:30pm /Overtime if needed/ Some weekend coverage / On Call / Some holiday coverage

Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Coordinates and performs supply and equipment distribution for departments, maintaining efficient activity flow in assigned offices and warehouses. Essential Functions:

  • Acts as a liaison to fulfill supply and equipment requests and to resolve incorrect orders, product recalls, and shipments. Communicates order status and advises of problems and delays as needed.
  • Assists with the receiving, sorting, preparation, and delivery of inbound and outbound shipments, packages and mail.
  • Manages Handheld Ordering System – maintains templates, ordering processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs data entry of equipment and supply transactions. Catalogues and organizes product for multiple departments.
  • Maintains inventory, monitoring expirations and placing orders as needed.
  • Assists with ensuring compliance, organization, and cleanliness.
