The Center for Faith and Service hires a small team of Student Assistants each year. Rather than filling predetermined roles, we hire students first and then work together to shape a role around their particular interests, gifts, and skills. Once hired, each Student Assistant meets with the Director to develop an individualized plan for what they will focus on and contribute during the year.
Every CFS Student Assistant, regardless of individual focus, shares in the general work of keeping the Center running and helping it feel like a welcoming space for the whole campus. Individual plans then build outward from there, shaped by what each student brings.
