Center Educational Director

The Learning Experience – “Happy Happens Here!”

Are you a passionate early childhood education leader ready to make a difference? The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced Center Educational Director to lead our center, support our teaching team, build strong relationships with families, and create an exceptional learning environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily center operations while ensuring compliance with all state and local licensing requirements.
• Recruit, train, coach, and inspire a strong team of teachers and staff.
• Support teachers in implementing curriculum and providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Build positive, lasting relationships with children, families, and employees.
• Conduct family tours and support enrollment, engagement, and family retention.
• Organize community outreach and marketing events to promote the center.
• Oversee administrative responsibilities, including payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and monthly reporting.
• Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming, and engaging center environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Three years of preschool/daycare leadership or management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and lead a diverse team.
• Knowledge of childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
• S-95 Certificate – Required
• F-07 Certificate – Required
• Food Handler Certificate – Required

• Have three or more years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred).
• Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
