Wage - $70,304 annually

Rotating Schedule – Full Time, 8 hrs. shift, days varies

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the orderly operation of the center during evenings, weekends and holidays as designated by the center director in compliance with government and management directives.


Essential Duties:

  1. Act as center director in his/her absence during evenings, weekends and holidays.
  2. Provide support to staff in resolving negative behavior of students.
  3. Monitor and maintain effective control through personal observations by making periodic checks of center wide activities as well as facilities, dormitories, cafeteria, etc. and report potential or existent non-resolved problems to the center director.
    1. Confer with parents, center personnel and counsel students concerning problems relating to student actions on and off center.
  4. Consult and collaborate with parents and center personnel, including Security, Residential Living, and the Safety Officer, to counsel students on problems related to their actions both on and off the center.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean work area that models high standards for a work environment.
  6. Make decisions in emergency situations that are determined to be disrupting the orderly operation of the center.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
  • Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
