Job Description

• Initial assessment of viability of development projects proposed by Target Market, Sales and Marketing.
• Supervise and coordinate all technical laboratory work, field evaluations and production trials associated with such approved development projects and new products.
• Accurate and regular electronic entry of project and topic data (project planning and project reports, updates, presentations, ...) into local and global systems
• Technical support for customers as well as SIKA employees
• Regional formulation support, know-how transfer
• Review/Coordinate technical documentation, e.g. Technical Data Sheets, method statements, MSDS
• Support marketing in reviewing and updating product testing requirements and creating inspection and test plans for products
• Conduct testing according to local and international standards (EN, ASTM, & Local) and modify test methods if necessary
• Carrying out product evaluation, both SIKA and competitors’ products
• Raw material evaluation for new and existing products
• Product maintenance

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials Science/chemistry/Engineering
• Good knowledge of Cement Chemistry, formulating admixture products, materials testing and Cement manufacturing process
• 5 years of experience in a multinational environment, of which 3 years are in cement additive product development and engineering and/or site experience.
