The Opportunity
In our data‑driven organization, we rely on accurate, timely, and high‑quality process insights to improve operational performance and enable informed decision‑making. As a Celonis CoE Senior Value Engineer (Data & AI Focus), you will play a key role in enabling these insights by designing and maintaining robust data pipelines, modeling process data, and integrating information from core business systems into the Celonis platform.
Additionally, you will help industrialize AI-driven process intelligence, enabling predictive insights, automation, and decision support across SCM and other domains—reducing dependency on manual analysis and accelerating value realization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Data Pipeline Engineering: Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems into Celonis.
Data Modeling: Develop optimized data models to reflect end‑to‑end business processes, enabling advanced process mining, root‑cause analysis, and AI-driven insights.
AI Enablement of Process Intelligence: Enable AI/ML use cases (e.g., prediction, anomaly detection, root cause analysis) by preparing high-quality datasets, features, and data structures to support advanced analytics.
Integration Ownership: Integrate data from SAP, Oracle, databases, APIs, and external sources, ensuring consistent data availability for both analytics and AI use cases.
AI & Automation Integration: Support implementation of AI-powered capabilities within Celonis (EMS, action flows, predictive analytics, AI copilots), embedding intelligence into workflows and decision-making.
Performance Optimization: Continuously improve performance of Celonis data models and pipelines to support scalability for analytics and AI workloads.
Data Quality for AI: Establish data validation, enrichment, and cleansing frameworks to ensure reliability of both reporting and AI-driven outputs.
Collaboration & Enablement: Partner with Value Engineers and business teams to translate process use cases into scalable data and AI solutions, enabling faster use case deployment.
Documentation & Transparency: Maintain clear documentation on data pipelines, transformation logic, AI data readiness, and model dependencies.
Continuous Innovation: Stay current with advancements in Celonis EMS, AI/ML, LLMs, and data engineering, identifying opportunities to enhance process intelligence with automation and AI.
Operational Excellence: Support development of dashboards, action flows, automations, and AI-assisted insights to drive measurable business outcomes.
