Join the Malivoire Cellar Team This Harvest
Cellar Hand | Beamsville Bench, Niagara, Ontario | Full-Time (Part-Time considered for students) | Seasonal, Late August – Late November 2026
Why You'll Love Working Here
At Malivoire, the people who work here aren't just employees — they're the essential "middle leg" of a winery built on three legs: Planet, People, and Prosperity, and many team members stay for years because of it. You'll join a small, hands-on cellar crew led by Winemaker Andrea Wilson, whose own career started on harvest crews around the world and who believes in training, mentoring, and genuinely supporting the people she works with. Malivoire is a Certified Sustainable winery on the Beamsville Bench with over 20 years of award-winning winemaking behind it — and the day-to-day culture reflects that longevity: open communication, mutual respect, and a team that has your back on the cellar floor.
We're looking for Cellar Hands to support our small winemaking team through the 2026 harvest. This is hands-on production work — moving fruit, cleaning tanks, running the forklift, and keeping the cellar running safely and efficiently during the busiest stretch of our year. No winery experience is required; we'll train you. What matters most is a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to jump in wherever the day needs you.
What You'll Be Doing
Who You Are
Work Environment
You'll work entirely inside Malivoire's cellar (no vineyard/field work), kept cool for tank temperature control. Hours are steady and full during peak harvest — typically 8–10 hours a day, 6 days a week, with one rotating day off — and taper to shorter days as the season winds down in November. This is fast-paced, physical, team-based work: you'll be shoulder-to-shoulder with a small crew getting the fruit in and the cellar running smoothly.
Technology & Tools
Forklift, cellar production equipment (tanks, hoses, presses, pumps), and basic cleaning/sanitation chemicals — full training provided on all equipment and safety protocols.
