Job Description

Do you have a passion for all things wine? We have an exciting opportunity for several casual Cellar Door Attendants to join our team at Balgownie Estate, Yarra Glen in the beautiful Yarra Valley (1 hour east of Melbourne or 30 minutes from Ringwood, Eltham, Bayswater & Kinglake).

The Role:

  • Greet guests warmly, guide them through the tasting menu, and conduct group and individual wine tastings
  • Assist with stock rotation.
  • Promote our Balgownie Wine Club benefits and sign-up new members.
  • Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) regulations.

About You:

  • Experience working in food and beverage with table service knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge or interest in wine and other beverages.
  • A friendly & happy personality and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Available for a range of shifts including nights & weekends.
  • Valid Victorian RSA.
  • Food Handlers certificate.
  • Have a reliable car to drive to and from Yarra Glen (Eastern suburbs).
  • Have full permanent working rights in Australia
  • WSET qualifications desirable.
