Job Description
Major responsibilities
- Oversee daily laboratory operations; optimize and maintain the operating cadence; continuously identify bottlenecks and drive improvements to reduce operational risks, improve cross-departmental process/ communication efficiency
- Collaborate with project teams to coordinate user requirements and facilitate overall planning for the new Cell Therapy R&D facility.
- Build digital tools to improve operational efficiency. E.g. tools for consumables and materials inventory management, budget spend tracking and analysis, end-to-end equipment lifecycle management
- Partner with Procurement and Legal: be familiar with procurement rules and business processes; communicate regularly with cross-functional team to track execution and delivery progress; drive cross-functional process efficiency to ensure department procurement progress in line with project needs.
- Partner with IT: collect, clarify, and prioritize requirements within CMC to communicate with responsible IT partners for timely issue response and delivery efficiency.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related fields; 4 years of relevant laboratory operations experience in laboratory operations/management or the MNC pharma /Cell Therapy industry is preferred.
- Familiar with laboratory operational processes and SOP frameworks, with hands-on experience in consumables and equipment mgmt, and end-to-end asset lifecycle management.
- Familiar with LIMS/ELN platforms; knowledgeable about project and knowledge management tools; capable of leading collaboration with IT to build departmental IT systems.
- Strong data compliance and quality awareness; understanding of biosafety, data integrity, access control, and audit requirements.
- Strong communication and coordination skills; Strong ownership mindset and proactive in problem solving
