The Medical Cluster Lead for CEE is accountable for the execution of Europe-level Medical & Scientific Affairs strategy across the CEE cluster. The role ensures consistent, high-quality and compliant medical delivery aligned with Haleon’s Trusted Science principles.
This role acts as the primary local medical interface to cluster commercial and regulatory organisations as well as external stakeholders. It focuses on the translation, deployment and execution of category medical strategies, evidence frameworks and governance standards, while providing local insights, risks and opportunities to Europe Medical leadership.
Medical Execution & Local Delivery
Execute approved Europe category medical strategies (OTC, Oral Health, Wellness) at cluster level, ensuring consistent implementation across markets.
Provide medical leadership to support launch excellence, lifecycle management and in-market optimisation in line with category priorities and approved frameworks.
Act as the local medical partner to Commercial cluster leadership, enabling risk-aware decision-making.
External Scientific Engagement
Act as the senior local medical representative, engaging with healthcare professionals, scientific experts and external stakeholders.
Lead scientific exchange, medical education and non-promotional expert engagement in line with defined frameworks.
Identify and escalate scientific, reputational and external risks and opportunities.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure all medical activities are conducted in line with governance frameworks, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Identify, manage and escalate compliance risks through established processes.
Support audit readiness and inspection activities at cluster level.
Evidence Deployment & Scientific Quality
Deploy approved evidence packages, scientific narratives and claims frameworks to support local activities.
Ensure appropriate and compliant use of evidence in all medical materials and activities.
Provide feedback on local evidence gaps, insights and execution challenges.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with category medical, governance, regulatory, safety and commercial teams.
Translate European-level guidance into clear local actions and recommendations.
Act as an escalation point for cluster-specific topics requiring European alignment.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy or equivalent).
Experience in Medical Affairs within OTC/consumer healthcare or other regulated environments.
Experience in translating global or regional medical strategies into local execution.
Experience in scientific engagement and collaboration with external stakeholders.
Experience working in cross-functional and matrix environments, including people leadership.
Ability to work within governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
Ability to assess scientific information and support its application in business context.
Fluent in English and Polish.

Remuneration: from 36 867 to 40 553 PLN gross/monthly.
