General Summary
The Client Service Specialist identifies and evaluates client needs to determine eligibility for which program(s) an individual may qualify. Provides access and referrals to needed services, materials, programs and information. Collaborate on achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly metrics and departmental goals.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Client Services
- Greets clients in person, by email, or by phone.
- Review client paperwork and collect supporting documentation as required to document and determine eligibility.
- Answer or make calls to clients to address their needs, complaints, or questions regarding program services.
- Provide accurate and thorough data entry intake using operating software for CEAP and related programs.
- Process accurate client assistance using operating software for CEAP and related programs.
2. Outreach and Engagement
- Participates in outreach events.
- Effectively communicate programs and services provided.
3. Other duties as assigned
Work Experience
Required
- 2-year experience in data entry showing trend to
increased responsibilities

Education/Certifications/Licensure
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- The candidate must have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check.

- Associate's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred
Skills
Required
- The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft or related software
- Analytical ability to detect and resolve errors.
Preferred
- Interpersonal skills necessary to effective communication and people skills (bilingual in English/Spanish preferred).
Physical Requirements
If a preliminary offer of employment is extended, a physical will be required before the offer can be accepted.
- Light to medium physical duties include standing, walking, reaching, bending, hearing, talking for up to eight (8) hours a day.
- Must have good vision
- Must be able to lift thirty-five pounds. Lifting will be primarily confined to occasional on premises lifting of boxes of office supplies and minor office equipment.
