Job Description

Job Location: Abingdon - Abingdon, VA 24210Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., located in Central and Southwest VA, is a large beverage distribution company seeking a full-time SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CDL-A).
Pay: starts at $60,000 DOE
Route: Local to Abingdon division - home every night
Schedule: Mon - Fri 5AM - Route Completion
The individual in this position requires a CDL-A and will be responsible for delivering pre-sold beverage products to retail customers on an assigned route. This position reports directly to the Delivery Manager.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CDL Class A license with current medical card.
- Excellent driving record.
- Strong math, verbal and written communication skills preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Adhere to strict safe working practices and company policies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The following list of physical requirements are required to perform the entire job: standing; walking; sitting; stooping; fine finger and hand manipulation; speaking clearly; hearing to be able to maintain conversation; seeing to be able to read and to drive a vehicle; and lifting, moving, and carrying 25-40 lbs. repetitively, and occasionally up to 170 lbs. when handling kegs. Must be able to bend, lift, carry, climb, stoop and stack product using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.
