Shift- 5pm to 5am 2-2-3 Rotation
Your role in achieving results:
Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment as needed.
Inspect company vehicle for visual defects when the vehicle is not running and operating defects when the vehicle is running; complete a daily inspection report per DOT rules.
Comply with all DOT hours of service and rules of the road.
Deliver merchandise to the appropriate location using the company vehicle; ensuring delivery receipt is signed by the receiver.
Prepare, stage, load and unload trucks safely and accurately
Keep truck and trailer clean and swept.
Fill out all logs accurately and submit to the proper people.
Report any issues with equipment to manager or supervisor.
Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management.
Keep daily truck logs.
Perform general maintenance of trucks.
Take trucks in for inspection, service and maintenance.
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Safety Protocol
Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
Support safety policies and programs.
