🚚 About the Role
We’re hiring a CDL Class A Driver to join our Greenville team. This is a local driving role delivering materials throughout the Upstate and surrounding areas.
This is not just a driving job—you’ll stay active throughout the day. If you like being on the move, working with your hands, and not sitting still, this role is a great fit.
🕒 Schedule
- Monday–Friday (some flexibility required)
- Start times may vary
- Home daily
- Overtime available
📍 Delivery Area
- Upstate South Carolina
- Columbia, SC
- Asheville, NC (approx. 2x per week)
🚛 Equipment You’ll Operate
- Stake body flatbed (primary truck)
- Conestoga (48 ft flatbed)
- Box truck
👉 Important: The stake body truck includes shoulder-height side gates that are heavy and require frequent lifting/lowering throughout the day.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Safely operate company vehicles following DOT and company regulations
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections
- Load, unload, and secure freight (chains, straps, tarps)
- Verify deliveries using bills of lading
- Deliver materials safely and on time
- Maintain logs and required documentation
- Keep equipment clean and in good condition
- Represent Conklin professionally with customers
✅ What We’re Looking For
- CDL Class A license (required)
- Clean driving record
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and safety

💪 Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on, physical role:
- Frequent lifting (1–50 lbs, occasionally 100+ lbs)
- Repeated lifting/lowering of heavy side gates
- Climbing in/out of truck throughout the day
- Loading and unloading materials regularly
- Working in different weather conditions
