Job Description

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Deer Park, TX is looking for a Class A Driver / OTR Equipment Hauler (must drive manual transmission) to join their safety conscious team! 

70% OTR driving, 30% local driving. TWIC card preferred or must be able to obtain. Flat bed experience a preferred!

This team member is responsible for the safe and successful execution of jobs across all service lines and various other responsibilities. This position supports the local equipment hub in moving equipment toand from regional job sites.

***MUST BE ABLE To Drive Manual Transmission vehicles. 30% driving / working locally, 70% OTR driving****

Forklift operations experience a plus! TWIC card is required!

Duties include driving a flatbed, hauling heavy equipment OTR and locally.

Experience driving in all types of weather relative to geographic location.

  • A respirator may need to be worn on certain sites and will be provided.
  • Forklift experience a plus!
  • TWIC card is required.
  • Class A, no restrictions, must be able to drive manual transmission.

  • Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions.

  • Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job.

  • Transport equipment to and from customer locations.

  • Completes pre and post trip inspections, driver’s logs and complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirements.

  • Loading and unloading equipment.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial? 

  • Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs.
  • Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
  • Valid CDL Class A license, no restrictions. Must drive Manual transmission vehicles.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
  • Experience driving a flatbed truck, hauling equipment.
  • TWIC card preferred or must be able to obtain.
  • Availability to travel for extended periods of time.
