Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/year,

Job Shift: 1st Shift,

• Manage commercial project inventory, including receiving, storing, staging, transferring, and tracking flooring materials in company flooring software.
• Maintain organized project-specific warehouse storage and accurately document material locations.
• Coordinate material staging and commercial deliveries with Mill Creek Project Managers and installation teams.
• Load and deliver flooring materials to commercial construction sites and places of business using company vehicles.
• Maintain a valid Class B driver’s license and safely operate a rear-mounted forklift for jobsite deliveries.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment to move and stage materials on-site as required.
• Verify delivery details, quantities, and material condition and obtain required signatures.
• Record delivery, transfer, and material information for accurate project and inventory tracking.
• Take and upload material, storage, delivery, and jobsite photos into the company’s project-management system.
• Collect and organize receiving, delivery, and transfer paperwork.
• Communicate material shortages, damage, delivery issues, or jobsite concerns to the Project Manager.
• Pick up returned, rejected, damaged, or transferred materials as directed.
• Assist warehouse operations with stocking, loading, unloading, inventory, and organization when not making deliveries.
• Assist customers and installation teams with material loading and placement as needed.
• Perform routine safety inspections and maintain the cleanliness and condition of company vehicles and equipment.
• Wear required PPE on active construction sites, including safety vest, work boots, and hard hat.
• Follow company Standard Operating Procedures and all company, jobsite, federal, state, and local safety requirements.
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers, contractors, superintendents, installers, and other jobsite personnel.
• Attend required company meetings, safety meetings, and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Must be able to meet the driver eligibility guidelines of the Company
• Must successfully complete all Company training and certification requirements regarding equipment usage, including obtaining forklift certification
• Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway signs and signals and to respond to official inquiries
• Can safely operate the type of commercial motor vehicle he/she drives
• Is physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with FMCSR requirements
