$2000 Performance Bonus (before applicable taxes): Drivers in good standing with the company will receive $1,000 after 90 days of employment and another $1,000 after 180 days of employment. Safety, attendance, attitude, and consistent on-time arrivals to work each day are all calculated into the decision of being considered in good standing with the company.

Monday-Friday Schedule on day shift 6:00am ET start time until completion of route (2:30pm ET approximate end time) - No Nights - No Weekends - LOCAL ROUTE

$26.00/HR starting pay

Würth Baer Supply Company is looking for a permanent addition to our team at our location in Indianapolis, IN. We are targeting a CDL-A Driver to perform customer deliveries.

Location:

Permanent Role:

• This is a direct hire to our company.
• No staffing agencies are involved in the hiring process.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm ET or until completion of daily route
• Time and a half after 40 hours
• No nights - No weekends

Compensation:

• The starting pay rate for this role is $26.00/HR.

• Paid for drivers in good standing with the company
• Consistent on-time arrival to work, good attendance, good attitude, work safety, and work quality are all factored into the evaluation of being in good standing

Truck Type:

• 26-Foot Curtain Side Truck
• 10-Speed Manual Transmission

Duties:

• Load truck with sit-down propane forklift and by hand as needed with materials such as drawer slides, hinges, door and cabinetry handles, hand/power tools, sandpaper goods, paint/stain, plywood, cabinetry, synthetic countertop materials, and laminate goods.
• Secure load to truck by tying down to ascertain safe travel between stops
• Pass goods to customers by hand weighing 40lbs to 100lbs
• Deliver to between 5 and 15 stops daily
• Delivery area spans 150 to 400 miles in Central Indiana
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate as needed with management pertaining to customer questions and concerns
• Utilize Samsara Electronic Logging Device (ELD) on company cell phone to perform pre-trip inspections and demonstrate DOT-compliant on-duty status, etc. in lieu of paper logs. Cameras facing in the cabin towards the driver as well as on the road ahead to protect the company in driver in the event of any incidents.

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable wearing a company uniform and protective footwear (composite or steel toe)
• Safe Driving Record (MVR)
• Must be legally authorized to authorized to operate manual transmissions and proficient driving these types of vehicles (10-Speed)
• Must have a valid CDL-A
• Must have Valid DOT Med Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Must be registered with the DOT (FMCSA) Clearinghouse
