Job Title: CDL Driver – Meat Delivery
Location: Detroit, MI
Type of Hire: Direct Hire
Hours: Monday – Friday 5:00 – 2:00pm (Optional Saturdays, Daily Start and end times may vary depending on delivery schedule)
Rate: $250/Day flat rate

Saad Meats, a leading supplier of high-quality meats in Detroit's Eastern Market, is seeking a reliable and professional CDL A Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our meat products to various local and regional customers, including restaurants, grocery stores, and wholesale buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a refrigerated delivery truck to transport meat products.
• Load and unload products at customer locations, ensuring all deliveries are accurate.
• Follow all DOT and company safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain and monitor vehicle condition and report any issues.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure products are delivered in excellent condition, maintaining proper temperature control throughout transit.
• Complete all delivery paperwork, including invoices and logs, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to the assigned delivery schedule and report any delays promptly.
Requirements:
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in the food industry.
• Familiarity with the Detroit area and surrounding regions is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50-85 lbs and handle perishable products.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
• Ability to work early mornings and weekends as needed.
