💻 About the role

To validate our first tape-out, we developed an initial prototyping platform, using a smart hybrid approach, connecting a real hardware system development board (socket ready) with a small prototyping FPGA board. We also developed a full design emulation platform (Veloce/Siemens) to model the Silicon.
Our team is using those systems to prepare and test the full validation suit and be ready to deploy it when our silicon comes back.

We work closely with all levels of software (BMC, System Control, TFA, BIOS, Kernel) to ensure all firmware and software developed at SiPearl work seamlessly before reaching our customers.

Under the direction of the System Validation Team Leader or any other manager designated by Management, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and compliance of the company’s software solutions.

You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies to identify defects, document anomalies and verify that software products fully meet user expectations, functional specifications and quality standards, while working closely with development and project teams.

🎯 Your missions

• Define and maintain test strategies and test plans aligned with functional and technical specifications
• Design, develop and maintain manual and automated test cases and scripts
• Ensure that all FW/SW stacks are integrated properly and meet the system requirements
• Execute functional, non-regression and performance tests, analyze results and track defects
• Work closely with development and project teams to investigate issues and improve product quality
• Communicate test results, risks and quality indicators to stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools
• Supervise and mentor interns, contributing to topic definition and recruitment-related activities

🔍 What would make you succeed in this role
  • Professional fluency in English within an international environment

  • Strong expertise in software testing tools, methodologies and best practices

  • Solid knowledge of programming languages, test automation and scripting

  • Experience with continuous integration tools and version control systems (Git)

  • Practical experience with software protocols and interfaces (SCMI, PLDM, PSCI etc... Redfish, Robo framework)

  • Strong understanding of different software stack (BLx, TFA, UEFI, BIOS etc...)

  • Good understanding of board level components and their physical interfaces (BMC, VRMs, FLASH etc... I2C/I3C/SPI/GPIOs)

  • Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes and propose effective solutions

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset

  • High level of autonomy, adaptability and initiative

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and scientific rigor

  • Ethical mindset, respect for confidentiality and reliable time management

  • Degree in Engineering or a Master’s in electronics, software engineering or a related field
