Join us as a CDD Optimisation Customer Lead
What you'll do
As a CDD Optimisation Lead, you’ll be accountable for defining and delivering workflow and operating model outcomes aligned to regulatory, risk, economic crime, and franchise priorities. You’ll combine deep financial crime expertise with strong analytical capability to take ownership of current performance, lead risk assessment and triage, and prioritise initiatives from problem definition through to benefits realisation. You’ll build strong, connected relationships across bank-wide functions and third-party partners to align priorities, influence roadmaps, and drive design and delivery excellence. You’ll also directly lead cross-functional delivery teams, setting clear direction and pace, coordinating specialist skillsets, and managing capacity and costs to ensure outcomes are delivered effectively.
Furthermore, you’ll build and lead a high-performing optimisation team across locations, coaching, and developing analysts while setting clear standards for insight quality, solution design, and delivery. You’ll foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement, while defining and promoting a clear optimisation plan across target CDD processes, platforms, and data, aligned to regulatory requirements, risk appetite, franchise objectives, and the Economic Crime strategy.

The skills you'll need
We’re looking for an experienced optimisation leader with a strong track record of translating insight into sustained, measurable outcomes. You’ll set and role-model a high-performance culture, operating at pace across complex environments while balancing risk, customer, and commercial value. You’ll have a strong risk management background, and the judgement to assess, prioritise, and manage competing demands, evaluating customer impact, compliance risk, operational benefit, and franchise value. With excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills, you’ll influence senior decision-making, align diverse teams around clear priorities, and drive outstanding delivery outcomes.
You’ll also need deep financial crime subject matter expertise, including extensive knowledge of AML regulations, screening and monitoring concepts, operational and platform design, data flows, and risk frameworks. You’ll be expected to hold or work toward a recognised professional accreditation, such as ICA, within 12 months. Moreover, you’ll demonstrate strong team-leadership experience, with a proven ability to lead, develop, and coach high-performing analysts who consistently deliver quality business performance.
