Job Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CDD analysts, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
• Allocate tasks and monitor the progress of CDD reviews and investigations.
• Conduct regular team performance reviews and provide training on new regulatory requirements or internal processes.
• Ensure the team accurately and thoroughly conducts CDD, including risk assessments, client background checks, and the verification of identities.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in all CDD activities.
• Handle complex or escalated CDD cases, including suspicious activity reports (SARs) and higher-risk clients.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with internal CDD procedures and ensure adherence to relevant AML and KYC regulations.
• Work closely with the Compliance and Risk teams to identify and resolve issues related to CDD processes.
• Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements, ensuring that the team adjusts practices as necessary.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management regarding team performance, progress on CDD cases, and any compliance issues.
• Act as a point of contact for other departments regarding CDD-related queries or issues.
• Continuously review and improve CDD processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and implement new tools or technologies.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
• Relevant Banking experience (in areas concerning KYC and/or AML)
• Meticulous and excellent time management skills
• Team player with good people skills, driven and independent
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
