YOUR IMPACT AT CHANEL

At the intersection of all departments, the Image Projects and Fashion Collections department leads projects from their framing to execution, animating each contribution and driving their governance. It ensures the best possible contribution from each partner team by defining the framework, providing a cross-functional perspective, and promoting dialogue and co-construction. The department encourages synergies and identifies decisions that enhance the coherence of the plan, its impact, and excellence in execution, right down to the markets, within the allocated timeframes and resources.

Specific to this role, it covers projects across:

  • Collection events
  • Boutique projects

The department is also the entry point for all requests related to the Image Creation and Production Studio, to best support partner teams’ briefs, ensure prioritization and anticipation of projects, and monitor their progress in accordance with creation timelines and production realities.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL

Within the strategy team that supports collection events and boutique projects, you will facilitating the planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of global collection events and boutique initiatives.

This role acts as the central point of coordination between global teams, regional markets, Supply, Production, Visual Merchandising, Styling Development, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.

You will participate in the support and animation of markets in the building of their project plans across the year, as well as facilitating support at global across expertise in the preparation and execution of those projects.

Reporting to the Collection Event Strategy Manager, your main tasks will involve:

Event Planning:

  • Manage and update the global calendar for collection events and boutique projects.
  • Support regular alignment meetings with markets to monitor proposals and changes to plans
  • Support strategic workshops and business reviews with regional markets.
  • Formalise presentations of event and boutique project format sharing

Product Strategy & Planning:

  • Coordinate and follow buying sessions for all collection events and ensure timely follow-up with regional markets.
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply coordination for collection events, from buying through event launch, including boutique and PR stock allocation.
  • Partner with Production teams to monitor collection availability, production priorities, shipment schedules, and market deliveries to ensure alignment with event timelines.
  • Coordinate delivery priorities across Supply, Style Development, Collection Events (RTW & Accessories), and Visual Merchandising teams.
  • Extract, analyse, and distribute buying data to Creative, Visual Merchandising, Styling Development, and Content teams, providing insights and recommendations where necessary.

Reports:

  • Support post-event debrief sessions to identify best practices, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Consolidate market feedback to establish common KPIs, share learnings, and recommend process enhancements.
  • Develop executive presentations and project documentation to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyse project performance, including attendance, budget, and overall effectiveness.
  • Produce post-event reports and business insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Manage and enhance reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy, system performance, and ongoing process improvements.
  • Lead the development, testing, and implementation of reporting tools for boutique and collection event feedback.
  • Redesign and optimize project tracking tools, including budget monitoring, capacity planning, and event performance dashboards.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • You have 3-5 years experience in project management and content management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate business insights.
  • You have experience working with reporting tools, dashboards, and cross-functional business systems.
  • You demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing sight of the big picture and sense of priorities.
  • You are familiar with the luxury and fashion sectors.
  • You are known for your dynamism, analytical skills, rigour and interpersonal skills.
  • You are proficient in IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You are fluent in English and French
