Job Description

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a skilled CCTV & PAGA Specialist to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The Specialist will provide technical leadership for the maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and integrity of CCTV and Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA) systems. The role ensures reliable video surveillance, recording, alarm coverage, system availability, controlled configuration changes, and compliance with security, IT, and CMC requirements.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and testing of CCTV and PAGA systems.
  • Maintain fixed, PTZ, thermal, and Ex-rated cameras, including associated power, cabling, and field equipment.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot VMS/NVR systems, recording servers, storage, and workstations.
  • Configure and test camera views, PTZ functions, recording, playback, alarms, user access, and system health.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PAGA controllers, amplifiers, speakers, zones, microphones, and emergency call stations.
  • Perform PAGA functional, audio coverage, alarm, zone, amplifier, and system integrity testing.
  • Troubleshoot IP networks, switches, communication links, power supplies, and system interfaces supporting CCTV/PAGA.
  • Verify CCTV coverage, image quality, recording availability, PAGA audibility, alarm transmission, and system performance.
  • Manage approved configurations, user access, software/firmware changes, backups, and configuration baselines under change control.
  • Support integration with security systems, CMC, access control, F&G, emergency systems, and other approved interfaces.
  • Lead RCA of recurring failures and recommend reliability, coverage, capacity, and performance improvements.
  • Coordinate with Security, IT/OT, CMC, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and OEM/vendor teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, test results, failure reports, backups, and CMMS records.
  • Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, system upgrades, modifications, and post-maintenance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with HCSP-CCTV requirements, cybersecurity controls, PTW/LOTO, HSE, and site security procedures.

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunications, IT, Control Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant oil & gas/industrial experience, including at least 5 years in CCTV/PAGA or security communication systems.
  • Valid HCSP-CCTV certification is required.
  • Strong experience with fixed, PTZ, thermal, and Ex-rated CCTV cameras and associated systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of VMS/NVR, video recording, storage, monitoring workstations, and system configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with PAGA controllers, amplifiers, speakers, zones, emergency stations, and alarm functions.
  • Strong knowledge of IP networks, switches, communication interfaces, and CCTV/PAGA connectivity.
  • Experience with CCTV coverage, image quality, recording integrity, PAGA audibility, and functional testing.
  • Knowledge of integration with CMC/security, access control, F&G, emergency, and other facility systems.
  • Experience with configuration management, backups, user access, software/firmware updates, and controlled changes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, RCA, reliability improvement, and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience coordinating with Security, IT/OT, CMC, Operations, Engineering, and OEM/vendor teams.
  • OEM/platform training or certification in CCTV, VMS, PAGA, or related systems is highly desirable.
