Position Summary
As the CCTV Operator for Wastewater, you will manage a field team that inspects, cleans, and maintains wastewater collection systems using specialized CCTV and maintenance tools. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of municipal sewer infrastructure by identifying blockages and defects that could pose risks to public health and the environment. You will work in various field conditions, including busy roadways and uneven terrain, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations. Success in this position demands strong leadership, a commitment to safety, and technical expertise.
Regional & Work Environment Considerations
This role involves working along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards. Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions. Expect outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions. This means adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.

QualificationsPrimary Responsibilities
• Distribute work assignments from the Field Operations Manager to Technicians.
• Provide field services for data collection and assess the condition of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems using a wide array of technologies.
• Maintain clean equipment and toolboxes.
• Perform basic math skills and use of computer applications.
• Receive and respond to first line of technical support issues for Technicians in the group and escalate to Field Operations Manager and/or Project Manager as needed.
• Utilize web maps to facilitate corrections as needed.
• Utilize data transfer tools for accessing and uploading files as necessary.
• Proactively report any issues observed with Technicians to the Field Operations Manager and Project Manager.
• Ensure all safety requirements, policies, and procedures are followed and enforced as necessary.
• Perform written discipline as needed with extreme issues escalated to Field Operations Manager.
Job

Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 months experience as a CCTV Operator
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
- PACP Certification
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations
Pay:
- $24 - 32  per hour, depending on experience
