The team sits within IB President’s Office and is responsible for measuring and managing the commercial risks that arise from interfacing with CCPs and 3rd party brokers. This benefits our continued, sustainable growth in partnership with our clients and Sales colleagues. As a CCP Risk Manager, you’ll play an important role in establishing and developing our newly created front-line team.

  • Broad product knowledge of derivatives. Able to understand, quantify and summarise key risks for futures and option contracts across the full spectrum of asset classes
  • Fluency in main financial risk management models, such as stress testing and Value at Risk
  • Highly organised, hands-on and proactive, capable of distilling vast amounts of qualitative information into a quantitative framework to support decision making
  • Well-versed in the field of data science: ability to envisage a scalable solution to complex data interpretation problems. Coding ability a strong differentiator
  • Desirable experience / areas of interest: market design, game theory, financial markets regulation
  • Bachelor, Master degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
