Job Purpose
As a member of the Jameson International Marketing Team reporting to the Global Comms & Content and partnerships director, you will define, activate and accelerate the Jameson Content Marketing Strategy to engage our target consumer local market. You will be responsible for creating the content roadmap, delivering & integrating best in class content initiatives into our Quarterly and Campaign led marketing efforts, under a consistent platform, in partnership with the wider Jameson International Marketing Team. You will be responsible for communicating and championing the Jameson asset development approach in your local market to support their brand & consumer challenges.
The role will seek to develop superior creative content for the brand in line with global approach in Drive Market, leveraging strong locally gathered cultural insights in order to fuel creative development.
Ensure global brand consistency and adhere to high brand standards & guidelines
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Indian brand team to shape the strategic market roadmap for Jameson and work with the global brand team to adapt global assets and/or develop local creative assets based on global brand strategy and global big idea. Act as at the brand guardian in market to ensure that all locally produced assets are in line with global strategy and executional guidelines.
2. Using the 5C framework, work with the Indian brand team to address core consumer challenges, taking into account local market cultural insights and media landscapes. Translate into content briefs to be handled locally or else centrally with the global team.
3. Lead development of market centric content campaigns seizing on timely local occasions/events/cultural moments etc.
4. Share creative brief guidelines with local marketing teams for other creative assets (e.g.: BTL, L3F)
5. Manage relationship with creative agencies and partners (incl. cost control): global agency and/or its local affiliate, local specialist agencies, local contact of global partner or local partners.
6. Research, ideate and test new & innovative content formats and emerging content channels to push boundaries and create talkability for the brand, in partnership with agencies & local partners/co-creators etc
7. Oversee the planning and publishing of content for local channels ensuring integration in messaging across touchpoints in partnership with media agency and in line with localised calendars and global approach
8. Actively participate in global content team, seeking opportunities to search and spin in order to drive efficiencies and to drive engagement and passion in content marketing across the International marketing team and local market company.
