What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team, who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertake tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of our patients.
  • Provide evidence-based CBT and integrative therapeutic interventions to adults with common and complex mental health presentations
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments, formulate treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical records in line with service policies
  • Manage a caseload effectively, including offering both short-term and longer term therapy, depending on client need
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to risk management, case reviews, and service development
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of practice

What you'll bring to the role

The successful candidate will hold a recognised therapeutic qualification (minimum Level 5 Diploma) alongside full professional registration and accreditation with BABCP, BACP, or UKCP. We are seeking someone with at least three years’ post-qualification experience of working with adults in mental health settings, confident in in delivering CBT, and ideally trained in an additional specialist modality such as EMDR or DBT.
The role includes facilitating psycho-educational and relapse prevention groups, conducting individual therapy sessions, and completing assessments and treatment plans across a varied caseload. Candidates must be able to meet a requirement of 60% clinical hours and be open to working weekdays, evenings or weekends. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and engagement in supervision and service development are essential.

We may also consider applicants working towards BACP accreditation within the next 6-12 months, with an adjusted salary banding of £16,686-£21,630 until accreditation is achieved.
