The opportunity

The EY GDS Creative Services is an in-house agency that empowers EY teams to shape the future with confidence by delivering high-impact, high-quality, and on-brand creative solutions. The team is dedicated to crafting experiences that are not only creatively inspiring but also strategically precise and deeply human, engaging audiences across multiple media platforms.

As a Senior 3D Generalist, you play a pivotal role in crafting and texturing high and low poly models, including characters, background environments, and props for gamification, AR/VR, and 3D animation projects. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform creative visions into immersive and engaging experiences that captivate our audience. With a strong foundation in 3D modeling and texturing, you are also adaptable, taking on additional responsibilities as a UI designer or After Effects animator to enhance project outcomes. Your commitment to maintaining creative skills and staying abreast of the latest tools and production techniques empowers you to deliver innovative and visually stunning solutions that resonate with users and elevate the overall project quality.

Your key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and produce multimedia collaterals, including high-quality 3D models and textures for gamification, AR/VR, and animation projects, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand design briefs, share ideas, and provide updates on project progress.
• Provide unique, innovative, and effective design concepts that meet the specific needs of customers and enhance user experience.
• Meet and exceed defined expectations in terms of aesthetics, quality, turnaround time, and overall project efficiency.
• Adhere to EY brand standards and remain cognizant of visual and verbal guidelines throughout the design process.
• Mentor junior team members on best practices for applying creativity in a production environment, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends and advocate for their application within teams and to customers.
• Seamlessly manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project objectives.
• Work with minimal supervision and guidance, demonstrating initiative and self-direction in project execution.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma, preferably in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya or 3ds Max, Unity 3D or Unreal, Z-Brush, Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Aftereffects and related Adobe products
• Ability to create and texture high and low poly models for various projects, including gamification and AR/VR.
• Strong capability in motion graphics animation.
• Strong visual design capability, with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in 3D modelling, animation, and design.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative design solutions.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Intermediate/basic knowledge of programming in C# or Java
• Team management experience
