Job Title: CBD Sr. Assistant – Coupang Beauty (B&W)

Function: Customer Development (E-commerce)

Department: Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W)

Location: Seoul, South Korea

Job Purpose

The CBD Sr. Assistant supports the growth of the Coupang Beauty (B&W) business by executing sales plans, managing day-to-day account operations, and contributing to the delivery of GMV, profitability, and market share targets within the e-commerce channel.

This role works closely with the CBD Manager to ensure effective execution of commercial strategies, while building strong collaboration with Coupang stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Execution

  • Support the execution of sales plans for the Coupang Beauty business (1P/3P as applicable)
  • Assist in sales forecasting and demand planning activities
  • Monitor daily and weekly sales performance, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Support promotion planning, campaign execution, and deal optimization

2. Account Management

  • Maintain effective operational communication with Coupang buying and MD teams
  • Ensure accurate and timely management of product listings, pricing, and content
  • Support new product launches (NPD) and online assortment expansion
  • Assist in resolving operational issues (e.g., stock availability, logistics, vendor setup)

3. Financial & Performance Management

  • Track key sales KPIs (GMV, NSV, margin, PPM, etc.) and provide regular updates
  • Support budget management, including trade spend, promotions, and ROI tracking
  • Assist in preparing business reports and performance dashboards

4. Market & Category Insights

  • Monitor marketplace trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics
  • Provide insights to improve category performance and conversion rates
  • Support analysis of key growth drivers (traffic, conversion rate, basket size, etc.)

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and RGM teams
  • Support alignment on stock availability, campaign readiness, and pricing strategies
  • Ensure smooth execution of integrated business plans

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • 2–5 years of experience in e-commerce, key account management, or sales (FMCG preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in Korean; working proficiency in English

Preferred:

  • Experience managing Coupang or other major e-commerce platforms
  • Understanding of key online business metrics (e.g., GMV, ROAS, conversion rates)
  • Experience in Beauty or Personal Care categories is an advantage
