At Vail Health, you’ll work alongside expert physicians and a collaborative clinical team in a state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization / Special Procedures Lab — all while enjoying the lifestyle and recreation of a world-class mountain community.
As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in delivering advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular care. You’ll assist physicians during complex procedures, operate sophisticated imaging and monitoring equipment, and provide vigilant patient care before, during, and after procedures.

You will also participate in on-call coverage, ensuring patients receive timely, expert care whenever it’s needed.
Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
Prepare procedure rooms and operate advanced equipment including:
X-ray imaging systems
Hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Ultrasound machines
Power injectors
Image processing systems
Monitor patients and respond confidently in emergency situations
Educate and reassure patients and families with professionalism and empathy
Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
Participate in Quality Assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Uphold HIPAA standards and model organizational values
Take part in on-call responsibilities (30-minute response time required)
2+ years of Cath Lab experience preferred
RCIS or ARRT certification and registration
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Strong communication skills and professional presence
Competency in invasive cardiovascular techniques and technology
Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergency situations
English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
Basic computer proficiency (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Hourly Pay: $38.98—$53.80 USD
