Job Title: Cath Lab Technician

Location: Des Moines, Iowa 50314 — On-site

Pay: $62.90 per hour

Shift: Morning 07:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday, 4 Days/10 Hours, 40 Hours per week

Note: Non-local candidates only. Candidate must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.

We are seeking three Cath Lab Technicians for contract positions in Des Moines, Iowa. The Cath Lab Tech will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, operating advanced cardiovascular imaging equipment and supporting the cardiology team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate hemodynamic monitoring systems, fluoroscopy, and intravascular imaging equipment
• Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, and catheterization supplies
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and hemodynamics during procedures
• Assist with STEMI activations and emergent cardiovascular cases
• Maintain accurate procedural records and ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Requirements

• RCIS, ARRT (CV or CI), or RN with cath lab experience required
• Active state licensure or eligibility in Iowa
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
