Job Description

Responsible for taking all incoming drop and set orders, creating time slots for events, running daily sales reports to include final count inquiries and client feedback. Assist sales team in event detailing and planning, as well as social media upkeep. Assist the General Manager in administrative duties. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

  • Answering all incoming calls
  • Placing outgoing calls determining final counts and collecting event feedback
  • Catering data/order entry
  • Assist the Sales Team and General Manager in a support role
  • On occasion, deliver catering orders to events around the Tri-State area
  • Participate in light office cleaning
  • Responsible for maintaining orders and timing for all delivery/set up orders
  • Aggressively maintain necessary Social Media sites that relate to Catering Industry
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in order to complete the tasks assigned
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Hours are often extended or irregular to include some nights, weekends and holidays
  • Valid Driver's license with the ability to travel independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word

Desired

  • Administrative Assistant
  • Restaurant and hospitality industry experience
  • Customer Service experience
  • Off-Premise catering experience, either in sales or as a server
  • Social Media experience a plus (Facebook/Twitter).
