Provide excellent, friendly world-class service to guests in a high volume, fast paced catering facility.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
Greet guests
Responsible for setup and breakdown of event as required meeting all department standards Provide s a great experience for every guest through courteous interaction
Server is responsible for the complete knowledge of the menu requested on the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
Deliver food and beverage to guests as per the BEO and instructions from the Beverage/Catering Services Supervisor
Return to tables regularly to ensure satisfaction
Server must be able to handle trays of dishes, clear tables, and manipulate tray-jacks
Responsible for cleaning and stocking areas
Build relationships with customers
Abide by appearance standards
Demonstrate high levels of top box service skills on a consistent basis
Delight our guests with outstanding service
Take drink orders, communicates with bartender, and presents drinks to guests
Handle money according to procedure
Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
Follow guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Board
Exhibit sound decision-making
Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved with projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions
Maintain compliance with local fire and health regulations, and maintains knowledge of emergency procedures enabling the issuance of instructions to employees and guests if necessary
Other duties as required to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers
Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED required
Six months prior food service experience preferred
CARE certified
Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
Legible handwriting
Beverage and food service knowledge
Ability to carry food and beverages safely and professionally
Must be familiar with tray service
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly
Excellent customer service and communication skills required
Must be able to complete cash and charge transactions
Willing to learn and be adaptable
Attention to detail/observant
Documented teamwork behaviors and great attitude
Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to carry and balance loaded food service tray
Must be able to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously
Must be able to be on feet for 8 hour shift
Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grasp items
Must be able to respond to visual aural cues
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds constantly
Must be able to possess the manual dexterity to grip necessary items (glasses, pens, garnishments, money, etc.)
Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop and twist when serving food and beverages
Must be able to lift25 lbs
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air qualityincluding second hand smoke
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
