Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring for two Catering Operations Coordinatorsto join our Product Operations team and help deliver the Australian Open 2027. These are full-time fixed-term contracts through to February 2027.

About the role

As a Catering Operations Coordinator,you'llplay a key role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of food and dining experiences across the Australian Open. Working closely with the Catering Operations Lead, food vendors, diningpartnersand internal stakeholders,you'llhelp ensure catering operations run smoothly across patron, player,workforceand media/broadcast environments.

In this role you willbe responsible for

  • Support the planning,coordinationand delivery of catering operations across Australian Open venues, restaurants, foodvendorsand workforce dining areas.
  • Coordinating vendor requirements, compliance documentation, accreditation, siteaccessand operational readiness activities throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Building strong relationships with food vendors,contractorsand key stakeholders to support successful event delivery and guest experiences.
  • Assistingwith cateringlogisticsincluding kitchen requirements, POS implementation, inductions, reporting, bump-in and bump-out activities.
  • Supporting daily tournament operations by liaising with vendors,monitoringoperationalrequirementsand contributing to continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.


About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience working within large-scale catering, hospitality, majoreventsor sporting event environments.
  • Possess a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including both front and back-of-house delivery.
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with vendors,suppliersand internal teams.
  • Demonstrate sound judgement, strong problem-solving capability andproficiencywith Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
