Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. The Catering Events Sales Manager manages all aspects of selling all catering and social catering events at all properties. Facilitate the sales function within the Event and Social Catering team. Coordinate supervision and the proper execution of events. Maximize Catering and associated revenues across all properties in conjunction with Property budgets and strategic plans. Work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings to ensure success of events. Work with Corporate Marketing teams to create appropriate and creative content for both print and digital media, as well social media channels in correlation with business needs, current trends, and market penetration.
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. Catering Manager experience at four-star or above property: 1+ years preferred. CMP qualification preferred. Well organized and detail oriented. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Delphi.FDC, Meeting Matrix and/or Social Tables, Social media savvy (Instagram, Pintrest). Should have proven event planning experience, experience working within a budget and be knowledgeable about food and beverage, as well as catering event design and event planning. Self-confident, creative, extremely organized, resourceful, energetic, detail-oriented and able to multi-task. This individual must be a professional with impeccable integrity and unquestionable ethical and moral standards. Able to understand the complexity and dynamics of Catering and Social business.
