Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team in Galway, Ireland H91VY19. In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering exceptional food service and creating a welcoming dining experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with our catering team, you'll support the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and dining facilities while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. • Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Serve meals and refreshments to customers with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Replenish food counters, service areas, and beverage stations throughout service periods
• Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dining areas, adhering to all food safety regulations
• Perform washing up, dishwashing, and general kitchen duties with attention to detail
• Support stock rotation, inventory management, and proper food storage procedures
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures consistently
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak service times
• Respond to customer inquiries and feedback with empathy and professionalism
• Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas as needed
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve service quality and operational efficiency

• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety protocols consistently
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a catering environment
• Previous catering, food service, or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and quality standards
