Location:  Woolwich Barracks, Repository Road, London, SE18 4BB

Pay Rate:  £12.71 per hour (over 21s) 

Contract type:  Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

Shift times:  Between 0630 and 2000 (no late nights) 

As a Catering Assistant at Woolwich Barracks, you'll be part of a welcoming team providing excellent food and customer service within a busy military environment. Supporting military personnel, colleagues, and visitors, you'll enjoy a varied role, a strong team culture and the satisfaction of knowing your work helps create a positive experience for everyone on site.

What you’ll do: 

• Assist with food preparation and service 
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene 
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service 
• Cash handling 
• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth operations. 

What we’re looking for: 

• Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment is desirable 
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing needs 
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering great service
