You will earn a competitive salary of £25,604.23 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.64 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.

This work is about providing customer service, in a busy catering environment. Ensuring visitors are catered for accordingly – this involves preparing and serving simple meals, snacks and beverages to clients and recording any payments. General kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround and equipment.

On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.

The Person

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential.

Being able to work in various team dynamics or working on your own and being able to use your initiative is advantageous.

You may be asked to work at short notice.

You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
