About the Role (Catering Assistant)- Note this is a drive in drive out role in Cabramurra

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support daily bistro and bar operations while ensuring the kitchen and service areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards. This hands-on position will have you assisting with meal prep, food service, and maintaining safety protocols in the kitchen.

This role is ideal for those looking to develop their skills in a remote catering environment. Whether you have prior experience or are looking to gain more hands-on experience in food service, this position is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in the hospitality industry.

You will work alongside a close-knit team, ensuring smooth operations of the bistro and bar and delivering top-notch service to the town’s residents.

For Catering Assistants

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Prior experience in kitchen or food service environments
• Positive, can-do attitude and a passion for service excellence
• Ability to work effectively in a small team, supporting both kitchen and front-of-house service
• Flexibility to assist across different duties, including food prep and service

Location and Details:

📍 Location and Point of Hire Cabramurra, NSW

🗓️ Roster 7 days on-site, 7 days off-site

⏰ Shifts 11.5 hours

⏳ Start Date Now

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in bistro style service environments (preferable but not essential)
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and Food Safety Training certification (Essential)
• Proficient in kitchen hand duties including food preparation and cleaning
• Experience serving point of sales, cash handling and EFTPOS
• Bar experience, must hold a NSW RSA
• Current National Police Check (within the last 3 months)
• Ability to multitask and work independently within a small team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
