ANDRITZ Global Supply Chain is looking for Category team leader for Rolls category

Category Procurement is part of ANDRITZ Global Supply Chain organization. As Category team leader you are planning and executing the purchasing work in your area responsible during the whole project life cycle, as well as taking care of strategic planning of activities and vendor management.

As a Category team leader of Rolls category you will be responsible of preparation of procurement and manufacturing strategy for rolls products globally and guiding of category team global members in strategic and category work. You will actively take part in executing of category procurement’s actions globally and network with internal and external stakeholders. You will report to Director of Category Management, Pulp & Paper.

Responsibilities and tasks

    • Lead specific Category team work to ensure a cost-competitive, reliable, and sustainable supplier base.
    • Preparation of procurement strategy for specific category.
    • Guiding category team members in strategic & category work.
    • Data management and information sharing in specific category globally.
    • Planning and optimizing category procurement actions globally ensuring best TCO (Total Cost) concept in sales and execution.
    • Supporting project cost calculation with inquiries and reliable cost data.
    • Vendor management actions and Vendor key account manager responsibilities locally for named suppliers:
      • Supplier rating
      • Supplier development
      • Claim management
    • Establishing and maintaining Vendor frame agreements for global vendors when applicable.
    • Executing of category procurement actions globally when applicable.
    • Reporting category team actions regularly.
    • Networking globally with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
    • Manage procurement of category-specific stock materials to meet the project demand if applicable.
    • Ensuring safety targets:Zero Accidents or lost time injuries

Professional Experience Education

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant subject
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
    • Previous team lead experience is seen as advantage
    • Skills and mindset for strategic planning
    • Good understanding of international procurement and overall project cycle
    • Good understanding of EU and international trade rules
    • Basic knowledge of logistics
    • Good negotiations and communication skills
    • Skills in data management and vendor management
    • Capability to work in continuously changing environment
    • Fluent written and spoken English
    • Willingness to travel both domestic and abroad
