In this role you support the sourcing organization in identifying, evaluating, and selecting strategic suppliers for direct materials, components, and traded goods.

You help ensure a reliable, competitive, and sustainable supply base while supporting supplier performance, risk management, and global sourcing initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage sourcing activities for direct materials, components, and traded goods in line with category strategies
  • Monitor raw material markets, industry trends, and economic developments to support sourcing decisions
  • Identify, assess, and manage supplier risks to ensure supply continuity and quality
  • Lead supplier selection processes, tenders, and commercial negotiations to achieve optimal value
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver sourcing initiatives and business targets
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance, and relevant regulations
  • Maintain accurate supplier and sourcing documentation
  • Support issue resolution and supply disruption management
  • Support the development and execution of category sourcing strategies
  • Contribute to new product introduction projects from a sourcing perspective
  • Ensure reliable raw material supply for manufacturing and business needs
  • Support inventory and supply continuity targets in cooperation with internal stakeholder

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience managing direct materials, raw materials, components, or traded goods categories.
  • Proven track record in supplier selection, tender management, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess markets, supplier performance, and sourcing risks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment.
  • Fluent in English; German and/or French are a strong advantage.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
