Your role at Clorox:

This role owns the SEA Cleaning category growth agenda, leading the full Cleaning portfolio (including but not limited to: Clorox, Pine Sol, Liquid Plumr) across Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and additional growth geographies.

Acts as category lead for SEA Cleaning, setting the strategic direction across sub-segments, including Laundry & Bathroom and Specialty Cleaners, and building the team and capabilities needed to deliver step-change growth.

Directly manages the Assistant/Brand Manager for Cleaning. Plays a lead role in shaping and delivering key strategic initiatives, including the Philippines market launch and major portfolio relaunches (e.g. toilet care, bleach, other NPD). Success requires the ability to set clear category-level strategic priorities, coach and develop a growing team, and partner cross-functionally to translate strategy into flawless in-market execution.

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

Category Strategy & P&L Ownership

  • Own the SEA Cleaning category growth strategy and P&L across Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore & growth geographies.
  • Develop and implement brand plans across all Cleaning sub-segments, including Laundry & Bathroom and Specialty Cleaners.
  • Identify, size and prioritize growth opportunities, including new market entry (e.g. Philippines) and portfolio adjacencies.
  • Own pricing, mix, and A&SP investment decisions to deliver topline growth and margin targets for the category.

Team Leadership & Commercial Excellence

  • Lead, coach and develop the Assistant/Brand Manager as the team scales, building a strong internal bench.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance metrics for the category and each sub-segment; adapt plans in response to market, competitive and financial dynamics.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, R&D and Supply Chain to deliver integrated business outcomes.
  • Ensure commercial and executional excellence across channels and customers.

Portfolio & Innovation Leadership

  • Lead the innovation roadmap for SEA Cleaning, including major relaunches (e.g. toilet care, bleach) and other new product development.
  • Guide execution of new market expansion initiatives, including the Philippines market launch.
  • Develop clear, inspiring innovation and communication briefs that lead to winning launches and activations.
  • Partner cross-functionally on claims, packaging, formats and competitive positioning.

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 8–10+ years of Brand Marketing experience, including experience in Tier 1 CPG companies.
  • Prior people management experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Cleaning / Household categories a plus.
  • Track record managing budgets and delivering P&L results.

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, major in Business and Marketing can be an advantage

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to set clear category strategy and translate it into actionable brand plans.
  • Strong people leadership: able to coach, develop and build a growing team.
  • Hands-on, agile leader with a strong bias for action and executional discipline.
  • High commercial acumen with deep understanding of consumers, customers and channels.
  • Strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity across multiple markets and sub-segments.
